All Kiwi Crimp Sleeves are gritted for superior wire gripping over typical non-gritted. This crimping sleeve is used to secure 12 ½ ga smooth wire but is half the length of a C23. They are perfect for electrical connections. They can be used at terminations, inline strainer placement and splicing but requires double in comparison to C23. When crimping sleeve, a crimping tool is required ( Crimp Tools ), using the slot marked 2-3. When crimped properly the sleeve will have a cylindrical shape.
