With the Energy Limiter (Flood Gate Controller) it is not necessary to switch the bottom wire off when vegetative growth makes it hard to keep the fence hot. This product will automatically limit the amount of power drawn from flood or vegetation, allowing upper wires to remain hot. The wire will automatically become hot again when the short is sufficiently reduced.
