Attach Insulated Cable to Top Tensioner: Start by connecting the insulated cable to the top Tensioner using a JR59 wire connector. This allows electricity to flow from one side of the gate to the other.
Route Cable Beneath the Gate: Run the cable down the post and under the gate. If the underground span is less than 1 foot, make sure the cable is protected with plastic pipe to prevent damage.
Connect on the Other Side: Bring the cable up the opposite post and connect it to the top Tensioner using another JR59 connector.
Connect Lower Strands (Optional): If your gate has multiple strands, continue routing the insulated cable down the post, connecting each strand from top to bottom. This keeps the lines powered and allows easy disconnection if needed.
