The Gripple 1 is an easy way to tension and terminate wire, monofilament and nylon cable, and cable rope at ends posts making it ideal for trellis applications. It has a maximum working load capacity of 880lbs. You can use the Gripple 1 with 11 to 15ga wire (5/64" to 1/8"). High grade ceramic grippers will lock wire or cable in place as soon as tension is applied. 

Always leave at least a 3" tail sticking out of the Gripple 1 in order to tension with a tool. You can use the Gripple Torque Tool (TGTTP), the Contractor Grade Gripple Torque Tool (TGTC), or the Fencer's Choice Heavy-Duty Tension Tool (TGTCC) to properly tension the Gripple 1.

Design includes a release feature for removing or reusing. To release wire or cable from under tension, use one of the tools mentioned above to apply initial tension. Then, insert a Gripple Adjustment Key (CGKEY) to unlock the Gripple 1.
