Another KIWI Fence School in the Books!

Another great KIWI Fence School is in the books! From October 28–30, a fantastic group of attendees joined us at the Kencove Fence School in Blairsville, PA, ready to learn, ask questions, and get hands-on with the training. The group made for a great learning environment, and the session went off without a hitch.

A big thank-you to everyone who attended, participated, and helped make this session a success. We appreciate your enthusiasm and engagement, and we hope you left with valuable knowledge and skills to put to work on your next fencing project.

What the School Covers

KIWI Fence Training School is for anyone who wants to learn how to install agricultural fencing, expand their service options, or sharpen their skills. Taught by experienced Kencove professionals and industry leaders, the school covers the latest installation techniques and building options.

Fence Techniques: Attendees learn to plan and design any fence layout, choose quality products and materials for a professional, durable fence, and build a fence step by step from start to finish.

Hands-On Building: Three days of fast-paced, hands-on training outdoors, rain or shine, building high-tensile, woven wire, Hotcote®, Kencote™, and HorseRail® fences.

Building a Successful Business: A successful fencing business takes more than building fence. We cover estimating, record keeping, customer service, proper insurance, and more.

Three Days of Training

Day one covers fence types and materials, project planning and layout, driving posts, bracing, high-tensile construction, and energizers and grounding. Day two moves into woven wire, equine fencing materials, coated wire and HorseRail construction, and gate installation. Day three focuses on the business side: running a fencing business, estimating projects, designing your own fence project, and hands-on coaching.

Every attendee receives training booklets, the Max-Ten Fence Book, informational brochures, lunch and snacks each day, a group dinner, and a certificate of completion.
