Priefert: Built by Ranchers, for Ranchers

Founded by Marvin Priefert in 1964, Priefert has grown into one of the largest farm, ranch and rodeo equipment manufacturers in the world. It started with a headgate Marvin built in a one-room shop on his farm.

Now in its third generation of leadership, Priefert is still family owned and operated. Its products cover cattle, equine, poultry, canine and rodeo needs, and Kencove now carries Priefert tube, wire and bull gates.

Economy Tube Gate

Priefert's most affordable gate, and a clean-looking, budget-friendly choice for driveways, pastures and other low-pressure areas. For crowding pens or high-stress spots, step up to the Bull Gate.

6 rails: 1.66" OD frame with 18 gauge end pipes and 20 gauge rails, so the gate is light and easy to swing.
One-piece stays: Vertical stays run through drilled rails for added strength and rigidity.
Powder coat finish: Architectural-grade powder coat with UV inhibitors guards against scratches and sun damage.
Hardware included: A hardware package with a chain latch, ready to hang.

Economy Wire Gate

Pairs the light, affordable build of the Economy Gate with welded mesh that keeps smaller animals contained. It fits anywhere you run field fence, including sheep and goat pens, pastures and driveways. Like the Economy Gate, it's made for low-pressure areas.

2" Bull Gate

Priefert's heaviest-duty gate at an economy price, built for crowding pens, alleys and other high-stress areas where livestock push, lean and test your setup.

16 gauge steel: 2" OD, 16 gauge steel tubing frame.
6 rails: One-piece vertical stays run through drilled rails, so the gate stays rigid under pressure.
Heavy-duty hardware: A chain latch, 12" all-thread J-bolt post attachments and an adjustable 3/4" top hinge clamp, ready to hang.
Powder coat finish: Protects against scratches and sun damage for a longer service life.
