This 1” raw fiberglass rod is a great alternative material for posts and droppers that provides strength and self-insulating properties. These posts are precut to 6’ but are also available in 5’ (F1R5) or custom cut lengths (F1R). This is uncoated B-grade fiberglass so use gloves when handling. Adding a protective coating will add to the lifespan of this material. Drilling these posts gives you the option to run wires directly through the post or use 12½ gauge cotter pins (FCPCR) or 14 gauge cotter pins (FCPCH) to hold wires at the intended height. You can also use dropper clips (FP1) with these rods.
