Gripples delivers significant time savings when joining and/or tensioning wire because of the fast and simple design. The Gripple Medium Plus has a patented ceramic locking mechanism that delivers superior grip and load strength. The internal ceramic roller is rock-hard, super-tough, and designed to grip high tensile wire resulting in a bond that lasts season after season.
Simply push wire into the opposing ends, leaving at least a 3" tail on each side of the Gripple. This will allow for easy adjustment and/or tensioning with tools. Once in position, serrated rollers grip the wire as soon as reverse tension is applied.The Gripple Medium Plus can be used on 10 to 14 gauge smooth wire (2mm to 3.25mm) and 15½ gauge barbed wire. Use a torque/tension tool when applying final tension or making tension adjustments. Choose between the Gripple Torque Tool (TGTTP), Fencer's Choice Heavy Duty Tension Tool (TGTCC), or the Contractor Grade Gripple Torque Tool (TGTC).
