This 4" auger head with 4 carbide teeth is designed for Montana post drivers and is ideal for pre-drilling pilot holes in hard or compacted soils. Pre-drilling holes helps reduce post deflection and improve placement accuracy. A great accessory for rocky or challenging ground conditions where starting posts can be difficult. Auger flight sold separately.
